President & Ceo
In 2001, Seth Dawson, CFO of a large industrial contractor in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, needed to solve the problem of managing the large volume of paperwork associated with running a self-performing construction company. As revenues climbed, so did the cost and burden of filing, routing, reviewing and storing the associated documents. Logically, he decided to seek an outside solution from several leading providers of imaging and document workflow technology, including his existing accounting software vendor. What he found were very expensive solutions that only solved part of the problem, so he began developing what has evolved into the Paperless Environments® System.
Seth graduated from Louisiana State University in 1989 with a B.S. in Accounting. He gained knowledge of accounting practices and computer systems while working for great companies like KPMG, The Eaton Group, Community Coffee and Cajun Industries. It was during his role as CFO at Cajun Industries that Seth decided to branch out and start Paperless Environments® in 2005. His role with Paperless Environments includes being the visionary of the team to lead them in the right direction for growth.
VP of Software Development
With almost 30 years of experience in Software Development and consulting work, our Vice President of Software Development Paul Rice's fingerprints are all over the success of Paperless Environments®. Paul has watched Paperless triumph through economic downturns and outlive many of its initial competitors. Paul attributes this success to a great team of employees, influential managers and an overall great company vision.
VP of Operations
J.P. Villaume joined the Paperless Environments® team as Vice President of Operations in 2019, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, several of those spent at the executive leadership level. J.P. graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Operations Management in 1991. Customer satisfaction and improving business efficiency are at the forefront of all of J.P.’s professional passions, and he daily encourages the Paperless Environments® team in that pursuit.
VP of Sales & Marketing
Jim Andrews joined the Paperless Environments® team as Vice President of Sales & Marketing in 2022, bringing with him years of experience with several sales organizations and start-ups to building winning teams and structures from the ground up.
Jim attended the United States Airforce Academy and graduated from Portland State University of Business in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Finance. His position with Paperless Environments® includes overseeing revenue growth, strategic planning, resource allocation, sales pricing and structure, and much more.
